How to download and play Flappy Bird for PC (Windows XP,7,8/MAC)

Dong Nguyen, the Vietnamese developer created sort of history with his insanely popular and addictive game app “Flappy Bird” in early 2014. Flappy Bird is an arcade and action game created by Nguyen’s .GEARS Studios and topped the charts both on Apple App Store as well as Google Play store before Nyugen pulled it off from both citing it’s addictive nature. However fans went crazy for Flappy Bird so much so that there were reports smartphones having it being sold for thousands of dollor on online market place ebay.com. I must admit that Flappy Bird craze is not going to die down so soon and it’s fans will try to lay their hands on it any which way. So don’t worry you can very much still install and play this game both on your PC and mobile. We will show you just how to do that in the tutorial given below. Now there are basically two ways to play flappy bird on your PC, first is to go on some website that hosts it online or you may play it using some android emulators like BlueStacks, Youwave or official Android SDK.Play Flappy Birds on your PC

1)Play online flash version Flappy Bird

This one is the easiest way to play this game on your PC. You just need to go to a website which hosts online version of this game and wait for flash file to load completely. Once the file loads completely on the browser you may start playing using different keys (most of the cases spacebar).  You may go on the websites listed below to play it online.

2) Download and play Flappy Bird on PC using BlueStacks Android emulator

As I have said previously as well BlueStacks is a good android emulator meaning it creates android environment on your PC thereby letting you install any apk file on itself and translating that file to your PC. But there is one condition here that you need to fulfill in order to install BlueStacks on your PC and that is your PC must have a minimum of 2 GB of RAM. Bluestacks player

To download Bluestack for Windows PC click here. To download Bluestack for Mac OSX click here. After downloading it install BlueStacks on your Windows PC or Mac and install it. It might ask you to update your Graphic Card drivers as well. You need to update them otherwise you may not be able to use it. Now there are two methods with which you may install Flappy Birds on your PC using BlueStacks.

Method 1

You search for Flappy Bird APK file and download on your computer or Mac. You can download Flappy Bird APK from here and Flappy Bird Modded apk from here. Straight away go to the folder where you have downloaded the Flappy Bird apk file and double click on it to automatically install it on bluestacks app player. Now go to the “My App” tab you will see Flappy Bird icon there just click on it and start playing your favorite game.

If you go to bluestacks player it has an orange search icon as you can see in the top left corner in the pic above. You just simply need to search “Flappy Bird″ after clicking search icon. Now you will be presented with various options. Click on the install button besides the Flappy Bird icon. Once install is complete go to “My Apps” tab you will find Flappy Bird icon. Click on icon and start playing! If you find Flappy Bird it’s okay otherwise prefer going by first method.

Apart from BlueStacks emulator you may also use another Android emulator known as YouWave player in which you don’t need to have a 2 GB RAM. However that being said YouWave is not a free program you need to pay in order to use it.

3) Download and play Flappy Bird on PC using official Android SDK as emulator

This is official developer tool for android developers and it can also be used as emulator to test any game app. You simply need to download it on your machine and load any apk file and SDK’s emulator will let you play any android game. You may use this link to download the android developer SDK.
