You should be happy if you are a BSNL prepaid 2G or 3G data subscriber. The state owned telecom company has announced that it will carry forward all the unused 2G or 3G data to the next recharge. So from now on, no hurry to consume all the data left due to fast approaching data pack validity.

The statement said that “This new facility will be applicable for all the GSM 2G and 3G pre-paid mobile customers of all BSNL circles across India”, however, the same was stopped in February. BSNL is also offering 3G data plans at prices much lower than the industry average.BSNL to rollover data to next recharge

BSNL is offering 3G data at lowest rates across industry. “BSNL recently introduced Rs 68 Data Special Tariff Voucher (STV) which allows 1 GB 3G Mobile Data for 10 days, never given by any other operator at this cheapest rates in the present market,” reads the BSNL press statement.

“Quality of service and customer satisfaction is our top priority and transparency makes us different from other operators,” BSNL Director for Consumer Mobility, N K Gupta said.

BSNL has become aggressive since the new NDA govt. regime came to power last year. It is launching new and attractive plans and offers to lure new and existing customers. Recently BSNL launched unlimited night calling across India from its land line phones.

BSNL’s new attractive data plans are likely to be fruitful given the huge high speed data demand across the country. The mobile data balance rollover scheme will work even on the longer validity 3G data plans as well as normal data STV or special tariff vouchers.
