Xiaomi, popularly known as the Apple of China has recently announced on twitter that one of its fastest selling smartphone Redmi 1S would again go on sale on Monday (i.e. 8th Dec), but this time no registration will be required as was the case earlier. In fact sale would be up and running as long as the stocks last, but considering the popularity of this super affordable and feature rich smartphone it is expected to go off shelves as soon as it hits them.
Apart from twitter Xiaomi also publicized this sale on its Facebook page as well and the photos caption reads “Open for all. No registration. While stocks last.”

November 25, was the last time Rs. 5,999 smartphone went for sale on Flipkart. However company didn’t reveal the number of handsets sold during this sale. Most of us assumed that as probably the last flash sale. Xiaomi recently also launched its new budget offering, the Redmi Note last week on 2nd of December and it dazzled one and all with 50,000 units going off the shelves within 6 seconds.
Xiaomi has introduced one of a kind marketing model, where they create artificial shortage for their devices by selling them through flash sale and on deep discounts when compared with competitors. This has created a kind of Xiaomi frenzy among customers without spending a penny on marketing. This Xiaomi frenzy could easily be gauged by the fact that people first buy Xiaomi products on Flipkart and then sell them to actual buyers on secondary market places such as OLX and Quikr etc. We hope you manage to grab your favorite Redmi 1S this time around!
