With start of festive season in India, smartphone companies like Apple, Samsung and Google have already launched their ‘flagship devices’ here. On Wednesday, Sony India also launched its 2015 range of ‘flagship’ devices, which includes Sony Xperia Z5 Dual, Xperia Z5 Premium both of them are Dual-SIM devices.
Coming to the price, the Sony Xperia Z5 Dual will set you back by Rs. 52,990, and will go on sale from October 23, while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual has been priced at Rs. 62,990, and goes to sale on November 7.
Both the devices boast of IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, which is something absent from specs sheets of other flagship devices. Without much ado, lets get straight to the specifications and features of these devices.
Sony Xperia Z5 Dual Key Specs and Features: The device features a 5.2-inch full-HD display (1080×1920 pixels resolution) and delivers a pixel density of 428ppi. As the name suggests, the phone comes with dual-SIM functionality and it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB on in-built storage. The memory could further be expanded via microSD cards of up to 200GB!
Coming to camera, the phone houses a 23-megapixel camera sensor on the rear side, while a 5-megapixel front-facing camera is also present. The Xperia Z5 dual packs a 2,900 mAh battery.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual Key Specs and Features: Sony touts the Z5 Premium as world’s first smartphone with 4K display and rightly so, as its 5.5-inch IPS display is able to deliver a whopping pixel density of 806ppi. As the name suggests, the phone comes with dual-SIM functionality and it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM, Adreno 430 GPU and 32GB on in-built storage. The memory could further be expanded via microSD cards of up to 200GB!

Sony supplies Sony’s UCH10 quick charger with both the devices, which is capable of delivering 5.5 hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging.
