Moto 360 price slashed by Rs. 5000, now starts at Rs. 12,999

If you have been planning to buy a good smartwatch, then Motorola has given you one very good opportunity to do so. The company has reduced price of both of its smartwatch variants by Rs. 5,000. The leather band variant is now available for Rs. 12,999, while the steel strap variant of Moto 360 can now be bought for Rs. 14,999.

Prior to the price cut the leather strap variant was priced at Rs. 17,999, and steel strap variant was available at Rs. 19,999. As of now, Moto 360 is only available via Flipkart in India. Moto 360 is one of the best Android Wear OS based smartwatch in the market.

Although, the Moto 360 has received a steep price cut, but it is nowhere near the cheapness of Mi Band which is available at a mind boggling price or Rs. 999. But one thing is sure, quality which Motorola has to offer makes the Moto 360 deal all the more sweeter after this steep price cut.

Moto 360 no doubt is best smartwatch, looks exactly like a watch and also offers best battery backup among various options currently available. It is powered by Android Wear OS and is compatible with any android device which runs Android 4.3 or higher. It features a 1.5-inch IPS LCD display, which is protected by corning gorilla glass and offers resolution of 320 x 290 pixels at 205 ppi. It is quite light weight at 49 gram.

When paired with a smartphone, the Moto 360 can accept or reject incoming calls, help read emails, play music and can also track fitness apps. It gets connected to your smartphone via low energy Buletooth 4.0. The Moto 360 offers 512 MB of RAM coupled with 4 GB of internal storage and runs on a 320 mAh battery. The processor found on board Moto 360 is TI OMAP 3.

We believe that soon Motorola would launch Moto 360’s successor and this price cut is to get rid of old stock. So we all can expect to see Moto 360 version 2 soon.
