Consumer electronics company Mitashi has introduced its latest Android 4.4 Kitkat powered Smart LED TV in India. This new product from Mitashi is dubbed as MiDE050v01 and measures 50-inch diagonally. It has been officially priced at Rs. 51,990, but you can grab it for as low as 47,990 at online retailer Infibeam.com.

For your information, this is not the very first android powered TV launched by Mitashi in Indian market, it currently also has a 40-inch android power Smart TV, which retails for Rs. 36,990. The 50-inch MiDE050v01 competes with other android powered Smart TV’s from manufacturers like Micromax, Toshiba and Vu.Mitashi MiDE050v01 smart LED TV

As far as technical specifications are concerned, this Smart TV comes with full HD resolution (1080×1920 pixel) spread over 50-inch display and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It also features a 500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, USB plug-and-play functionality with support for 27 video formats, three HDMI inputs, one ‘PC input’, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, as well as a dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. It comes with a three-year limited warranty.

This new product was launched by Mitashi during an IPL function in Mumbai. Mitashi is an Indian brand and has a wide array of product to boast of, with prices starting from Rs. 6,990 for the 15-inch 768p TV, and going up to Rs. 1,15,000 for the flagship 65-inch full-HD LED TV. The 50-inch Smart TV from Mitashi competes directly with Micromax 49-inch 4K resolution TV. Micromax offers better resolution of 3840×2160 pixel coupled with lower price, so it seems like Mitashi will have hard time selling its new 50-inch Smart-TV in Indian market.
