These days Microsoft has been focusing more and more on its budget line up in order to boost its bottom line. In doing so, the Redmond tech giant has not launched any flagship since Lumia 930, which was launched in July last year. If rumors are to be believed, company is working on its next flagship device.
Recent reports from GSMArena suggests that Microsoft is currently working to deliver its next flagships, the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940XL. Apart from that, the Lumia 940 was recently listed on the benchmark website GFXbench.com under the name ‘Nokia RM-1106 and flaunts a nifty specs sheet.
The information leaked earlier about the Microsoft Lumia 940 offered a similar set of specifications found on ‘Nokia RM-1106’ listed on GFXBench. Going by all the information we have, it seems the Lumia 940 will not bring major changes except for the processor. Microsoft might thrown in some additional features, but everything else may remains the same.
As per GFXBench website , the Lumia 940 (Nokia RM-1106) will offer a 5.2-inch full HD 1080×1920 pixels display. Under the hood will be a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The Microsoft Lumia 940 will probably offer a 20-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.
Lumia 940’s bigger sibling, the Lumia 940XL will probably offer a 5.7-inch quad HD display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, microSD expansion, a 5MP front camera and a 20MP rear snapper as per the leaked info.
Both the devices are expected to be launched by the end of October running Windows Phone 10.
