Lenovo on Tuesday launched three new smartphones in India dubbed as the A1000, the A6000 Shot, and the K3 Note Music. Unlike their predecessors, which were sold exclusively through online stores, these three smartphones will be sold offline through retail outlets across India.
Indian festive season is just around the corner and Lenovo wants to capitalize on this opportunity by offering new range of smartphones through offline stores. The Lenovo A1000 is likely to enhance company’s presence in low budget smartphone category and is similar to A2010, barring 4G LTE connectivity.
Lenovo A1000 price, specifications and features: As we said earlier, A1000 is nothing but an attempt to bolster Lenovo’s presence in low budget segment and will cater to first time smartphone buyer. The Lenovo A1000 has been priced at Rs. 4,999 to attract youngsters and those looking for smartphones on low budgets.
Lenovo A1000 features a 4-inch display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor alongside 1GB of RAM. It also offers 8GB of in-built storage and an option to further expand via microSD cards of up to 32GB. The A1000 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box and boasts of 5MP rear camera, and another front-facing VGA camera. It packs a 2,050 mAh battery and connectivity features such as dual-SIM 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Lenovo A6000 Shot price, specifications and features: This device is basically Lenovo A6000 plus with an upgraded 13-megapixel rear camera and will be available at a price of Rs. 9,999. The smartphone houses a 5-inch 720p HD display, which will produce decent results. Under the hood is a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Coming to camera, the device is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support, as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The dual-SIM device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The device boasts of producing 360 degree surround sound experience, all thanks to Dolby Atmos technology!
Lenovo K3 Note Music price specifications and features: The Lenovo K3 Note Music is upgraded version of the Lenovo K3 Note launched earlier this year, and is priced at Rs. 12,999. It is reportedly world’s first ever smartphone which comes equipped with a sound amplifier and AnyWoofer technology. The device features a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080p resolution display, which delivers a pixel density of 401 ppi.
Th phone houses a MediaTek’s MT6752 1.7GHz octa-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. You can further expand the memory via microSD cards. A 13-megapixel camera sensor is present at rear side and there is also a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie unit. The phone packs a 3,000 mAh battery and offers connectivity features such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi.
