Moto X coming to major US carriers
In what can be seen as the end of monopoly for AT&T when it comes to tailor made Moto X phones, Motorola will offer this smartphone with other major US carriers like Verizon Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile. Other than that Motorola plans to bring Android Kitkat 4.4 to Moto X range in near future and has even dropped the Moto X price to $99.99.
Moto X is not as powerful or feature rich as top notch phones like Samsung GS4 or HTC One or Samsung Note 3, however it is different from the lot because it can be customized or tailor made easily using online service Moto Maker. This is a big thing if we talk of customers who want to make their phones stand out from crowd.
Apart from a good physical design which can further be customized we have Google which brings software innovation and uniqueness.
In a nutshell Moto X may not exceed likes of Samsung Note 3 when it comes to screen size, quality, storage and battery. But it wins hands down when we look at the kind of customization we are offered. Which feels good in the hand and also has a decent battery and also gives us the option to build countless customized phones through Moto Maker.
