Xiaomi has made a spectacular debut in the Indian smartphone market with the launch of Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone and other two low cost smartphones are further lined up for launch. They are Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Redmi Note. Pricing information has been released by Xiaomi but availability is still unknown and if we go by the words of Xiaomi’s Hugo Barra they could be launched pretty soon.
Xiaomi is keen on providing good customer service and after sales service in India so that it can acquire as much customer base as possible quickly. Company has priced Redmi 1S and Redmi Note very aggressively at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. The launch of these three highly competitive devices at aggressive prices clearly spells out Xiaomi’s intent for a long run in Indian market and why not Indian market is one of the fastest growing market for smartphones.
