Samsung launches Galaxy Grand Prime 4G in India for Rs 11,100

Every smartphone maker is busy launching new 4G devices and Samsung is no different. It has also added another 4G smartphone to its product portfolio with the launch of Galaxy Grand Prime 4G in India. The 4G enabled phone was recently announced at Samsung forum.

Samsung has officially launched this phone at Rs 11,100, however, it has been listed on Flipkart for Rs 11,480. This phone will be made available in grey, gold and white color variants.Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G launched in IndiaThe phone features a 5-inch TFT display with qHD resolution (540x960p) and a pixel density of 220 ppi. The Galaxy Grand Prime 4G runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, the phone comes with 8GB storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

The phone comes with dual SIM capability, is 8.6 mm thick and weights 156 with battery. Just like other Samsung smartphones, the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G also runs company’s TouchWiz UI on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The phone features a 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash support, while a 5-megapixel wide angle camera has been installed at the front side of the phone.

It comes packed with a 2,600 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 14 hours. Connectivity options on board are Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G and 4G LTE supporting both FDD and TDD bands.
