Leading smartphone brand Oppo has launched a new 4G enabled smartphone dubbed as Oppo Neo 7 in India. These days smartphone manufacturers are mostly launching 4G devices, as more and more people demand increased data speeds to do more work by spending less time.
The dual-SIM Oppo Neo 7 has been officially priced at Rs. 9,990, and will hit the Indian markets by end of this week to take advantage of Diwali sales. The Neo 7 brings in improved sets of hardware specifications over its predecessor, which was launched in June.
Coming to the specifications, the device features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with qHD (540x960p) resolution, as opposed to its predecessors 4.5-inch display with 480 x 854 p screen. Under the hood is a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB ROM. The graphics are taken care of by Adreno 306 GPU.
Memory can further be increased via external microSD cards of up to 128GB. To increase the durability, Oppo has installed 13 layers of fiber glass on the back side of Neo 7. The Oppo Neo 7 packs a 2420mAh battery and runs Color OS 2.1 skin on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop.
As far as camera is concerned, the Oppo Neo 7 boasts of a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash coupled with UltraHD feature to increase the photo resolution up to 24-megapixel. The phone also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, with light sensitive sensor to adjust brightness as per the surrounding light conditions.
