Oppo Find 7 launched at Rs. 37,999: Specs Review and features

It seems that flagships are becoming cheaper by the day and Oppo Find 7 confirms this trend. Oppo Find 7 comes with lots of innovative features like faster charging, Ultra HD picture mode and 4K video recording etc. Oppo which entered Indian market early this year has launched its latest product Oppo Find 7 for Rs. 37,990. If you are looking for a more affordable product then Oppo Find 7a priced at Rs. 31,990 may be the smartphone for you.

Oppo is a Chinese brand which is aggressively trying to dig in to Indian smartphone pie. As of now it boasts of a range of 10 products for Indian market with prices ranging from Rs. 10,000 to 40,000. It made entry in to Indian market early this year with its flagship device Oppo N1. Both Oppo Find 7 as well as Find 7a would be available in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur,Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Pune and Lucknow.

Oppo Find 7 has a 5.5 inch quad HD display, which basically represents smallest screen size for a resolution of 2,560×1,440 pixels and is technically 4 times more clearer than a typical HD display of the same size. This 5.5 inch display coupled with quad HD resolution delivers a breath taking pixel density of 538 ppi. On the processor front this phone even beats Nexus 5 with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, which comes bundled with 3 Gigs of RAM and 32 Gigs of on board storage. You may upgrade the memory using a microSD card up to 128 GB.

One of the key selling point for this smartphone is VOOC flash charge technology which charges the device within a very short span of time. In fact a 5 minute charge of it massive  3,000 mAh battery can easily take you through a 2 hour call. It runs on a customized version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Oppo has dubbes it as Color OS. It is a single SIM device and supports micro SIM card.

Oppo Find 7  features a 13 mega pixel rear camera with Sony’s new IMX214 stacked sensor for better low light photography. This camera has a Ultra-HD picture mode which lets you combine up to 10 images to a 50 mega pixel picture. Whats more! You also get to record 4K videos as well.

It has its microphone as well as the microUSB port both located at the bottom while the 3.5 mm audio jack could be found at the top right corner. Volume Rocker has been placed on the right side and the power button is located on the left hand side. Oppo Find 7 will start retailing from next month while its cheaper sibling Oppo Find 7a has started retailing from today on wards.
