It seems nobody is interested in buying Xiaomi Note 4G, at least through flash sales with prior registration. Earlier in January, company tried to woo customers by selling Redmi note 4G at Airtel stores across major Indian cities. However, that plan seems to have not attained much success and Xiaomi has finally decided to sell Redmi Note 4G on Flipkart without any need of pre-registration for flash sales.
So now you can log in to Flipkart and straight away buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G without flash sale or any such hassle. Flash sale as per us is nothing but a tool to create artificial demand and attract more buyers without spending a dime on marketing. But of late these flash sales have lost their sheen among customers.
“Good news! We now have sufficient stock of #RedmiNote4G for all Mi fans. No registration required, open sale starts on Feb 12th,” revealed Xiaomi in a tweet.
Similarly this is what Xiaomi’s Facebook page has to say “Good news! We now have sufficient stock of Redmi Note 4G for all Mi fans and you can purchase yours any time you want from Flipkart, just in time to catch the ICC Cricket World Cup.”

The Redmi Note 4G sale is live now on Flipkart and anyone can buy it for Rs. 9,999 (USD 161). Earlier this week 40,000 Redmi Note 4G units went on flash sale, however Xiaomi didn’t declare how long it took these devices to go out of stock.
Similarly on a number of such flash sales and open sales Xiaomi didn’t declare as to how much devices went on sale and how much were actually sold. With Xiaomi now doing away with flash sales and instead going for open for all sale, it is very much clear that Redmi Note 4G is not finding many takers. So it is no surprise that company synonymous with flash sale model has announced for the first time that it has “sufficient stock”. Time to have a re-look at your marketing strategy in India Xiaomi!
