Nokia 106 budget feature phone now available in India: Key Specification and Price

Nokia announced it’s feature phone 106 earlier in August this year and now it is available on Nokia online store for delivery within 5 working days. Nokia 106 feature phone offers “style and simplicity” with very basic features and only has a single SIM (GSM) functionality. Nokia 106 is a very good phone for rugged day to day use for heavy calling and SMS. This is also ideal if you are not very keen to carry a smartphone or want an additional phone for calling and it comes in 3 colors namely black, white and vibrant red.

Nokia 106 supports a micro SIM and provides 2G GPRS connectivity at the most. Nokia 106 sports a 1.8 inch (4.57cm) display with QQVGA (160 x 128) resolution and is supported by a LCD Transmissive technology with a pixel density of 114 ppi.

The phone measures up at dimensions 112.9 x 47.5 x 14.9 mm and weighs 74.2 gram. Nokia 106 is powered up by a 800 mAh battery which as per Nokia’s claim would give you a maximum standby time of around 35 days and a talk time of around 9.9 hours.Nokia 106

Nokia 106 runs on symbian 30 series software platform and has no camera either at back or at the front. It is a typical candybar phone and comes loaded with an alpha numeric keypad.  The device has been loaded with multimedia functions like an audio player and FM radio that keeps users entertained while on the move.
