Moto X the latest Motorola flagship has managed to remain in news one way or other. It was launched in August last year and has managed to grab the eye balls with some cool and distinctive features such as touch less voice controls and active display notifications. Early this year it received the latest Google Android Kitkat soon after the Nexus 5 and other Google Play Store edition smartphones.
Some days ago a fake Motorola Facebook page claimed that both Moto X and Moto G are all set to receive the Android L update but soon after Motorola refuted any such claims by saying that the Facebook account is not genuine. Apparently Motorola didn’t clearly deny any update on any of its latest smartphone lineup and following his curiosity one of the Google+ user asked Motorola about any pending update on Moto X.
Google+ user Josh B. asked on the official Google+ Motorola page if “Moto X is still going to get Android L (5.0)” and received a quick “Yup” from Motorola executive Punit Soni. Except for this no other information like exact timing of the update or update nature was not disclosed. However going by the past trend of Android Kitkat update early this year Moto X is all set to receive Android L soon after Nexus lineup and other Google Play edition handsets.
Google revealed its upcoming gorgeous android version Android L (5.0) at the recently concluded I/O 2014 and is expected to start rolling it out at any point in time in the fall along with the new Nexus 6 hardware.
