Moto E to be launched on Flipkart: Images and Specs leaked

By | May 11, 2014

Flipkart has become the official Motorola retailer in India with the launch of Moto G and later Moto X. It now appears Motorola’s entry level smartphone Moto E will be available for you to purchase on Flipkart after 14th May. Flipkart started teasing Moto E on its official twitter handle couple of days ago after rumors about the same went rife on social media and blogs. Today one of the Brazilian online retailer leaked the images and official specs of Moto E which were almost similar to what were earlier speculated. From the looks Moto E feels very similar to Moto G and will also come in multi colored shells which will be interchangeable

If we have a look at the specs they are very similar to ones leaked earlier on social media. Moto E will boast of a 4.3 inch display, dual core Qualcomm chipset, 3G connectivity, 5 MP rear camera, 1 GB of RAM and will run on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box. If you guys remember Motorola sent invites for Moto E launch event in Delhi and London earlier this month.moto e leaked image

Another factor which indeed proves that Moto E has made its way into India is data from Zauba, an Indian import data site. When we entered the handset code “xt1022” in the search bar it clearly shows that a total of 5,580 Moto E handsets have been imported in India in two lots at an average price of Rs. 6,330. We think Moto G would be available for around Rs. 8,500 to Rs. 9,000. If you want to know the exact Indian price for Moto E then wait for another 2 days when Flipkart puts it up for sale.

Moto E is expected to have a 720p HD display just like Moto G and Moto X and a 1.2 Ghz dual core processor. 4GB of on board storage with a microSD slot could very well be the case with Moto E and add to that a 1,900 mAh of battery.
