Micromax Unite 3 Q372 now available online at Rs. 6,569

Micromax has quietly unveiled the new Unite 3 smartphone, which belongs to popular Unite-series. It has been listed on its own store as well as third party online retailer Infibeam.com at Rs. 6,569. The Micromax Unite 3 also comes with bundled data offers from Vodafone, which offers 500 MB (2G/3G) data per month for 2 months.

The Unite 3 represents the third generation in the popular unite series. Earlier two devices launched under this series were Micromax Unite and Micromax Unite 2 respectively. It is up for grabs in White and Blue color options. It supports dual-SIM, dual standby (GSM+GSM) functionality.
Micromax Unite 3Following its predecessors, Unite 3 also comes preloaded with support for 10 regional languages. A new translation feature allows one to translate his/her mother tongue to English and vice versa.

Coming to the specifications, its runs Android 5.0 out-of-the-box and features a 4.7-inch (480×800 pixels) WVGA IPS display. A 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6582M) processor powers up this device along with 1 GB of RAM. It is equipped with 8 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the Unite 3 boasts of an 8-megapixel rear auto focus camera with LED flash and another 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera at the front. Micromax has bundled some free(read sponsored) apps such as Ask me, Chaatz, Clean master, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Hotstar, Newshunt, Paytm, Quicker, Snapdeal, and SwiftKey with Unite 3.

Coming to connectivity options, the Unite 3 is well equipped with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The device comes power packed with a 2,000 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of standby time. It also includes light, gravity, and proximity sensors.
