Things don’t pan out the way we want all the time and this is what has occurred recently with Indian smartphone maker Micromax. Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 which was under wraps, and company is busy releasing teaser campaigns for it, has today been leaked online as well as put on sale online on eBay.
Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom leaked that the official retail value of the Canvas Doodle 4 is Rs 9,499. Going a step further, one of the seller on eBay listed the device for sale and offering it a lower price of Rs. 9,199.
Canvas Doodle 4 is the successor of the Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 launched approximately at the same time last year and comes with beefed up specs sheet with faster processor, better camera and a more powerful battery.
This device certainly falls into mid-range phablet category, as it comes fitted with a 6-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass on top, and will probably be shipped with a stylus. The device comes with dual SIM support, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
The Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 Q391 is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (unspecified chipset), with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM or internal storage. You’ll further be able to expand the built-in storage via a microSD card up to 32GB.
The smartphone houses an 8-megapixel primary camera with flash, along with another 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. Unfortunately this device does not offer 4G LTE connectivity, however, it comes with 3G connectivity. It packs an impressive 3,000 mAh battery.
