Micromax is trying to dominate entry level smartphone segment by launching new devices in quick succession. Keeping the same thing in mind, Micromax has now listed Bolt Q335 on its official website. The device belongs to company’s affordable range of smartphones from bolt series. Micromax has not revealed anything about Bolt Q335’s price or availability yet.
However, going by the specifications this device should not cost anything above Rs. 5000 ($79). It runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out-of-the-box and comes with dual SIM on dual standby support (GSM+GSM). Let’s have a look at the specs offered by Micromax Bolt Q335.
The device sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480×800 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 207 ppi. Under the hood is a 1.2 GHz Quad core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor alongside 512MB of RAM. With just 512 MB RAM you can’t expect to run many apps at the same time and if you do so the smartphone will probably hang.
The phone is equipped with 4 GB of ROM or internal memory, which can further be increased up to 32 GB with the help of microSD card. As far as camera is concerned, here we deal with a 5-megapixel fixed focus rear camera with flash, along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera is capable of recording and playing 1080p HD videos.
The smartphone packs a 1,650 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 5.5 hours and a standby time of up to 280 hours on a full charge. Connectivity options include, GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Micromax Bolt Q335 comes with some pre-installed apps like Paytm, Snapdeal, Clean master, Hotstar and many more. It also boasts of gravity and proximity sensors. This phone is expected to hit the stores over the next couple of days.
