LG G3 all set to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop by end of 2014

According to a recent report LG’s current flagship G3 is all set to get Android Lollipop by the end of 2014. TechTastic, a tech blog has cited a LG representative for the Netherlands and Belgium on this news. This LG guy didn’t give away any specific time frame for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to be delivered on LG G3, but we suspect that the company may make the official announcement any time soon.

Meanwhile LG Germany has officially confirmed the roll out of Android Lollipop to G3 in Q4 2014 and the update for LG G2 will soon follow as well. LG Germany revealed all this information on its official Facebook page.LG G3 Android 5.0 Lollipop update

On a similar note, Samsung reportedly is also preparing for Lollipop update on its latest flagship Galaxy S5 which is probably scheduled for December 2014. It is expected that Samsung’s Lollipop update may take about a month for complete roll out across globe. The South Korean electronics giant has remained mum about Android 5.0 update on its Galaxy S5 but recently gave a hint that Galaxy Note 4 may soon receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
