The ongoing IFA 2015 in Berlin witnessed a slew of smartphone and phablet launches from Chinese tech giant Lenovo, which includes – the Vibe S1, Vibe P1, Vibe P1m, the Phab and the Phab Plus. Lenovo earlier revealed new ThinkPad, IdeaPad, IdeaCentre, and Yoga Tab 3 devices at the IFA 2015.
To begin with, the Lenovo Vibe S1 will be available from November for a minimum of $299 (INR 19,795) exclusive of taxes, while Lenovo P1 will be available from October priced at $279 (approx INR 18,500) and Lenovo Vibe P1m is slated to go on sale from mid September priced at $159 (approx INR 10,500).
The Lenovo Vibe S1 (see image above) runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch full-HD display. The main highlight of Vibe S1 is its dual front facing cameras, which delivers one of the finest selfie experience. As per company “The 8-megapixel primary front camera takes the sharpest photos and a 2-megapixel secondary front camera analyses depth of field information.”
The phone looks terrific at 7.8mm thin profile and weighs 132 grams. It has a 13-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash support. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It offers internal storage space of 32GB, which is further expandable via microSD card of up to 128GB. The 4G LTE enabled smartphone packs a 2,500 mAh battery, and will be available in Pearl White and Midnight Blue colours.
This Lenovo Vibe P1 is a smartphone which will impress you with its massive 5,000 mAh battery. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 placed on top of it for scratch resistance. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz; Adreno 405 GPU; 3GB of RAM. The device has 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card. The device has 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front facing camera at work. It offers faster charging with Dual-SIM support and 4G connectivity as well. The Vibe P1 (see above) will be available in Platinum, Graphite Grey and Gold colors.
Much like the Vibe P1, the Lenovo Vibe P1m (see image above) also features a massive 4,000 mAh battery. So it can easily be called as the ‘lite’ variant of Lenovo Vibe P1. Under the hood is a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It features a 5-inch HD 720p display with expandable storage space. The Lenovo Vibe P1m will be available in available in Onyx Black and Pearl White.
