Indian smartphone maker Lava has launched a new smartphone under its Flair series, the Lava Flair P1 in India. The dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone runs Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box, and is priced at Rs. 3,399. This entry-level smartphone will be made available across retail stores as well as on online stores.
The device will be made available in black and white color. Lava has plans to further launch three more smartphones under the flair series in coming months. Flair P1 comes equipped with 3G support and below average specs (you can’t ask for more at this price range).
Let us see what Lava Flair P1 has to offer on the specifications front. This smartphone features a 4-inch TFT display with FWVGA 480×800 pixels resolution and pixel density of 233 ppi. This affordable device is powered by a 1 GHz single-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. It comes with just 2 GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
The smartphone houses a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, along with another front-facing 0.3-megapixel VGA camera for selfies and video chats. The Lava Flair P1 offers connectivity options such as 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The smartphone packs a 1,400 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 10 hours 53 minutes of talk time on 2G network, up to 6 hours 42 minutes of talk time on 3G network, and up to 120 hours of standby once fully charged.
