Indian mobile phone manufacturer Intex has added yet another smartphone to its ever increasing portfolio, the Intex Aqua Super. The dual-SIM smartphone has been priced at Rs. 10,390 and comes equipped with an impressive 3GB DDR3 RAM.
The Intex Aqua Super competes with smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy J5, Xiaomi Mi4i, along with Micromax Canvas Sliver 5. The new budget smartphone will be available from next week in four color variants – Black, Champagne, Grey and White. Without much ado, lets get straight to specifications.
The Intex Aqua Super runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280x720p resolution, which delivers a pixel density of 293 ppi. The device is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735P processor coupled with 3GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of in-built storage. One can also expand the memory via external microSD cards of up to 32GB.
As far as imaging is concerned, the device packs an 8-megapixel rear camera and another 2-megapixel front-facing snapper. The camera also boasts of features such as face detection, auto scene detection, self-timer, smile detection, face beauty, live photo, panorama and more.
The Intex Aqua Super packs a 2150mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. The device comes wih connectivity features such as 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The device dimensions are 144×75.3×7.65mm and it weighs 130 gms. Additionally, the Intex Aqua Super comes with 1-year screen breakage warranty and a complementary back pack. Intex has also included some pre-loaded apps with smartphones – Matrabhasa, Follo, Quikr, Intex Play, Opera Mini, Clean Master, and Newshunt.
