Intex Mobile has launched a new member of its Aqua series of smartphones dubbed as Aqua Q5. The Indian smartphone vendor has listed the Aqua Q5 on its official website for Rs. 5,090. Till now there is no announcement about the availability of this handset.
There is nothing exceptional about this phone, as it is just another entry level device with below average specs sheet. This dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone from Intex runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box and comes loaded with inbuilt automatic call recording feature.
The Aqua Q5 is powered by a 1.3 Ghz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. As far as display is concerned, it features a a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA TFT display.
The Intex Aqua Q5 has 8GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded up to 32GB using external microSD card. On the imaging front, the device sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, with another 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options found on the Intex Aqua Q5 include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.
The device packs a 1,600 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 5 hours and a standby time of up to 160 hours. The device measures 133x67x8.9mm; weighs 138 grams, and will be available in White and Gold colour.
