Intex Aqua i5 Mini Quad Core smartphone launched

Another budget smartphone from Intex is getting ready for the launch and this time it is Intex Aqua i5 Mini. This smartphone has recently been listed on Intex’s official website. However, Intex is keeping the pricing and availability of this device under wraps as of now. Aqua i5 mini is a dual SIM (GSM+WCDMA) device that runs on Android Jelly Bean and  is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. 

On the camera front it features a 8 megapixel auto focus rear snapper with LED flash, while it has a 2 megapixel camera at the front for video chats. Intex Aqua i5 mini sport a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display which deliver a resolution of 480X854 pixels resulting in pixel density of 218 ppi. Intex has already launched Aqua i5HD this month while Aqua i5 Mini will be launched next month. Both of these devices are successor to older Intex Aqua i5.Intex Aqua i5 mini launch

Intex Aqua i5 mini has 4 GB of on board storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the use of microSD card as usual. 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi with hotspot functionality, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, and FM radio with recording are a range of connectivity options available with Aqua i5 mini. The device gets it’s power juice from a 1,500 mAh battery which as per Intex can deliver a talk time of up to 5 hours and a stand by time of up to 180 hours.

Intex Aqua i5 mini boasts of inbuilt call recording feature. Apart from this, it has some pre-installed apps like Intex Cloud, Intex Zone, BigFlix, Greetzap, Hungama, NQ Mobile Security, NQ Vault, Quikr, Saavn, Opera mini, Sony Liv, Zapak, Newshunt, and Getit, as well as two games – The Avengers, Chennai Express. This device is expected to be priced around Rs. 7,000.
