After tasting success with M2, smartphone, US-based smartphone maker InFocus has launched another budget smartphone in India, the InFocus M330. The company has officially launched M330 for Rs. 9,999 on popular online shopping portal Snapdeal via flash sale model. The InFocus M330 phablet competes with other phablets like Redmi Note 4G, Huawei Honor 4X etc. All these competitors basically come with same hardware and final choice may be left to individual choice.
It offers dual-SIM, dual-standby feature (GSM+GSM) and runs Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. It features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display (720×1280), with a pixel density of 267 ppi. InFocus M330 targets the most popular sub Rs. 10K segment of Indian smartphone market.
The display has also received the Gorilla Glass 2 protection against accidental scratches and it protects the front facing camera as well. The InFocus M330 is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, coupled with Mali-450 GPU and 2GB of RAM. M330 comes with in-built 16 GB of storage, which could be increased by a microSD card up to 64 GB.
On the camera front, the M330 performs decently with a 13 megapixel Sony made camera at the rear accompanied by a LED flash, while it equipped with a 8 megapixel shooter at the front. The M330 comes power packed with a 3,100 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 18 hours or standby time of 550 hours.
It must be noted here that the M330 doesn’t come with stock Android. In fact InFocus’s own InLife UI is layered on top of Android 4.4 Kitkat, which as per company’s claim is quite user friendly.
