HTC is once again out to challenge other device makers with it’s top of the line device HTC One Max. It is one of a killer device which has a fingerprint scanner much like Apple iPhone 5S but at the back side of the device. Apart from this the stunner has a 5.9 inch HD display. That’s not all the scanner can help you launch three of your favorite apps at the touch of 3 different fingers.

HTC is trying hard to revive it’s handset business by launching new and attractive smartphones. HTC One Max will be launched globally later this month. This device is more or less a larger version of the much acclaimed HTC flagship device One with very similar specs. This amazing smartphone can easily be locked or unlocked with the help of fingerprint scanner located at the back panel.

This phone is powered by a Quad core 1.7 Ghz qualcomm processor with 2 GB of RAM. The front shooter is a 2.1 megapixel camera and also has a 4 megapixel rear facing camera  uses HTC’s UltraPixel design, which the company says uses a larger image sensor to offer better low-light performance.

The phone runs on a mammoth 3,300 mAh battery which is enough to work for around 25 hours in WCDMA mode. The phone has a micro SD slot as well to expand it’s memory and note here that this feature is unavailable in U.S. version of HTC One. This device will be up for sale in 16GB and 32 GB variant.

If we look a bit closer HTC and Samsung are actively fighting to gain the already crowded market place. Earlier both of them released smaller version of their smartphones like HTC One Mini and Samsung S4 Mini. Now they are out with the out sized versions. Samsung barely a month ago came out with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear. HTC One Max looks like a serious attempt by HTC to take on the Korean Giant Samsung.
