The top end model Poketsurfer3G5 offers access to 3G networks and also sports a 5 inch TFT capacitive High Definition display. Apart from that users can also enjoy mobile gaming on it. It runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and is powered by dual-core  ARM Cortex A7 processor clocking at 1.2 Ghz. As per Datawind the battery of this phone will give you a talk time of around 4 hours coupled with a standby time of 2 days.

Pocketsurfer5 provides you with HD videos and high speed web surfing even at 2G speeds. It boasts of a 5 inch multi touch TFT capacitive WVGA display. This device also runs on Android ICS 4.0 OS and is powered by a Cortex A9 processor which clocks at 1 GHz. As far as camera is concerned this device has a front facing VGA camera and a 2 MP camera at back.

I personally feel that this device should have been 3G enabled. In this age of blazing fast internet one don’t expect to carry a smartphone which is having an internet connection working at few kilo bytes per secs (kbps). Datawind claims that this phone will give you a talk time of around 3 hours and stand by time of around 2 days.

It has only got a front facing VGA camera but looking at the cost it is still very good. This device has a 5 inch TFT multi touch WQVGA screen. Pocketsurfer5X gives a talk time of  around 3 hours and a standby of 1 day.

“We are rolling out retail network as well. We currently have franchisee at 200 locations and we are expanding our reach. There will be 12 months warranty on phones with after sales service support at 700 locations at present,” Tuli said.
