Blackberry Messenger (fondly called BBM) service is still one of the best messaging app around if you want a neat looking messaging app with secure servers. Due to constant decline in their handset business guys at Blackberry were thinking of exiting hardware business and instead concentrate on providing software and enterprise services. So early this year Blackberry announced that it would launch the app across all the major mobile platforms including iOS, Android and Windows Phone. So finally they unsuccessfully launched the app in September this year but some technical glitches and a unofficial version release forced the company to halt and postpone the launch of Blackberry messenger app on iPhone and Android. But once again company has come out with full force to launch it on Android and iOS. Currently the app is up for download on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Wow, they can’t even do this right. People want to use their app, they have to wait in line for the privilege of doing so. It’s no wonder they’ve fallen so out of touch with today’s trends.

    • @NachoKingP: this looks like some kind of weird marketing strategy employed by BBM guys.. but from my point of view this will backfire.. Blackberry lost the battle long before to Android and iPhone.. worlds most innovative and intelligent developers are now on Android and iPhone..
I initially downloaded the BBM app uninstalled it within next 1 hour as I love my Watsapp!
