Xiaomi’s Mi Fit app has recently been updated to work in sync with Google’s health and fitness platform, Google Fit. Xiaomi’s Mi Fit app is installed on smartphone to be paired with the company’s Mi Band and Mi Scale. Both the affordable devices are used for monitoring body’s vital stats in order to improve one’s health.
Earlier, only Mi Fit iOS app had HealthKit integration, while the Android app did not allow data exchange. With new update, the vital health data collected by Mi Fit app can now be transferred to Google Fit app. The update also brings improvements to UI and some bugs fixes as well.
The new integration between the apps will ensure that data gathered is consistent and accurate. This update brings up the Mi Fit app version to 1.4.923, which is currently available on Google Play Store for download.
The Xiaomi Mi fit band was launched along side the Mi 4i last month, and is priced at just Rs. 999. If you want to buy Mi Fit band then this is the right time, as Xiaomi is conducting an open sale for the same on 2nd June. Till last week it was only available through flash sale on Xiaomi’s website.
It boasts of features like missed call alerts via vibration mode, aluminium surface with no display, interchangeable plastic bands, 30 days of standby, bluetooth wireless connectivity etc. The Xiaomi Mi Fit band is water resistant(IP67), and can be used to unlock the user’s Xiaomi smartphone without entering any password or patterns. It helps user monitor his steps, vital body stats and sleeping routine.
