Now android users have one more reason to cheer for! The official Gmail app has become even better, as it now allows users to access other non-gmail inboxes at one place and that too in a prettier threaded view. The official gmail blog post goes on further to explain about how most of us today have multiple email accounts for different purposes and unification of these accounts at one place will benefit one and all.
“Starting today you’ll be able to view all your mail at once, regardless of which account it’s from, using the new “All Inboxes” option. This way you can read and respond to all your messages without having to hop between accounts.” says official Gmail blog post.
Gmail app users for long have been complaining about non availability of ‘All Inboxes’ feature and Google has finally acted to fulfill customer needs. With Gmail android app’s ‘All Inboxes’ feature now you don’t need to toggle between different email accounts or their respective apps. All of your email accounts will be beautifully arranged in one universal inbox! Isn’t that great?
No matter if you are on Yahoo, Outlook.com or for that matter any other IMAP/POP email account, you can access all your email accounts from Gmail app for android. Not only can you read the emails from other email service providers but you may also reply straight from the gmail app itself! Windows, Blackberry and iOS users may still have to wait for this gmail update, as their is still no word about it’s availability on other platforms.
